This exchange came about after David decided to argue with me (and others) on a pro-rail trail Twitter profile. You see, David hates rail trails and believes that long-abandoned railway lines in rural and remote Australian communities must be reopened so the troops can move north when war breaks out.
So, just to be clear, David was on someone else’s profile, not his own, when he started arguing. We didn’t go to him. He came to us. And then he stalked me to my own personal Twitter profile to continue his pathetic attack.
He’s a serial pest on social media — basically anywhere that supports rail trails. He’s been blocked by numerous profiles/pages, and I’ve since deleted my Twitter account (because Elon).
*A term railroad employees use to describe a railroad enthusiast/railfan and the railfan community at large. Most often used disparagingly.
“Man, we got some foamers ahead taking pictures... they need to just get a life and find something to do besides hang around the tracks all day.”
